Die generalisierte TRH-Resistenz ist eine autosomal rezessive Erkrankung bei welcher das den TRH-Rezeptor kodierende Gen mutiert ist. Charakteristisch für die Erkrankung ist ein Nichtansprechen der TSH- und Prolactin-Sekretion beim TRH-Test.
